Cumberland sausage ring, slightly spicy, definitely Moorish, on a bed of fluffy mash in a giant Yorkshire pudding with a rich port gravy and fresh vegetables £9.95
Lamb shank falling off the bone in minted gravy even the New Zealanders come back for, with a root vegetable mash and fresh vegetables £10.50
Kings Arms burger, 8oz of 100% mince beef, onions and chopped dill with a touch of grain mustard mixed in, made on the premises, in a big bun with a Stilton topping and homemade wedges £8.50
Smokehouse chicken, a chicken breast stuffed with local mature cheddar wrapped in smoked bacon served with creamed spinach and sautéed potatoes £9.50
Cajun chicken, rolled in blackened Cajun spices on a bed of sweet peppers with chips or wedges £9.50

Pasta

Seafood tagliatelle, fresh pasta with Mediterranean seafood including octopus, squid, mussels and prawns in a Thai fish stock, lemons and parsley served with home made garlic bread £11.95
Vegetarian tagliatelle, aubergine, courgette, peppers, mushrooms, onions, tomato and lots of fresh herbs with a hint of garlic, a touch of cream and a splash of red wine. Top it with parmigiana shavings, more herbs and a drizzle of olive oil. Served with garlic bread £10.95
Home made lasagne, prime beef mince with a top grade pasta, fresh basil and a Somerset mature cheddar mixed with Italian Regiano go into making this. Served with a hunk of garlic bread and a salad with virgin olive oil £9.95

Indian and Far Eastern Specialities

Lemon and ginger chicken with fresh coriander, a whole chicken breast marinated, cooked and served in a sauce of fresh ginger and garlic with a hint oof green chilli and a home ground mixture of spices with a generous handful of fresh coriander. Served with fragrant rice and garlic and coriander naan bread and a fresh mint and yogurt raita £9.95
Red pepper chicken, a whole chicken breast split into two cooked in a stunning sauce of fresh ginger, garlic, almonds, sweet red peppers and a unique mixture of our own roasted and ground herbs and spices finished with lemon juice and cracked black pepper. Served again with fragrant rice, a garlic and coriander naan and fresh mint and yogurt raita £9.95
Pineapple Chicken Korma, chicken chunks served in a traditional mild sauce with coconut milk and fresh (not tinned) pineapple cooked in a traditional manner and left to sit so it produces a rich, thick, tasty yet mild flavour with hidden aftertastes. Served with naan bread, fragrant rice and raita £9.95
Pork ribs in a beer and black bean sauce, four big juicy ribs (simple the best we ever tasted so we stole the recipe!) left to marinate for a day then slow oven cooked and finished off under a scorching hot grill. Served with grain mustard mash, garlic mushrooms and beer battered onion rings £10.50
Green Thai curry, authentic Thai spices with coconut milk and fish stock make up this hot curry served with fragrant rice and naan bread £9.50
Rich Thai curry, slightly milder but with a richer flavour again served with fragrant rice and naan bread £9.50
Beef Madras, lots of onions and tomatoes with home ground spices go into this old favourite made with local silverside of beef served with rice and naan bread and a yogurt and mint raita £9.50

Desserts

Home made apple, rhubarb and pear crumble... the secret is in the crumble... try it and see £3.95
